The Sandgate Sunset Run Association is made up of a group of volunteers, who are all local to the Sandgate area.

We met through Sandgate parkrun, which is a free, weekly, timed, 5km run every Saturday morning. Through this passion for running and local community, the concept for the Sunset Run was born.

We are excited about bringing a family-friendly, community-centred, fresh event to the Sandgate and Brisbane running calendar. We see a unique opportunity to promote local businesses and support a charity making a difference in our community.

The members bring together a wide range of expertise in fields including event management, marketing, media, law, sales, government and health.
